Lauren Tijerina

Born and raised in upstate New York, Lauren began her dance training at a competition studio, studying various styles including jazz, contemporary, tap, ballet, theater, hip hop, floor work, and modern. In Fall 2023, she graduated from the Steps on Broadway Conservatory Professional Training Program, where she performed works by renowned choreographers such as Frederick Earl Mosley, Lisa Harvie, Skye Mattox, Jess Leprotto, Chryssie Whitehead, Alrick Thomas, Benjamin Freemantle, Kenna Morris Garcia, and more! While following her dreams in NYC, she attended Marymount Manhattan College, receiving a BA in Communication Arts and Public Relations with minors in music and journalism. Her passions lie not only in dance, but also in singing and acting. She was a devoted member of her high school drama department, attended Berklee College of Music's Musical Theater Intensive at Boston Conservatory, and participated in many vocal performances throughout the state. Live theater, TV, Film - You name it, she wants to do it all.  Lauren Tijerina is a hard-working and dedicated performer who is extremely excited to see where her professional career leads her.
